Hank's Story...

Not everyone marries the first person they meet … you have to date, get to know them and see if the relationship develops. It’s the same for me. I’m not moving in just because you think I’m cute. I want to get to know you, know you will respect me and discuss our commonalities. Then we can talk about future arrangements. Let me introduce myself. My name is Hank. I’m a handsome hound blend with a stubby tail, gorgeous coat and shiny silver around the muzzle. That’s right … I said it … I’ve got some gray around the muzzle … like some of you don’t have a little graying going on?! I’m a senior and proud of it. I can out walk and out sniff any youngster. AND I’m housetrained and know better than to chew and be destructive. Those youngsters today just aren’t to the same caliber as us seniors. (To that point, I want to be the only dog and don’t care to share my home with kids.) I want to find a companion who will respect me for who I am, will allow me to enjoy a good bone in peace and will adore me as much as I will adore them. If needed, I can teach my person how to take long, leisurely walks and how to enjoy the beauty of each day. When I find that right person, it will be a beautiful, loving, loyal relationship. Until then, I’m going to enjoy the time with my BFFs at Our Pal’s Place … relationships that I will always cherish!
