Judd's Story...

I feel like I’ve won a Grammy Award after being rescued from the county shelter! Now I have a long list of people to thank for helping me. My story begins with having gotten lost and ending up at the county shelter. (Don’t all actors have a sad start to their career?!) During my 5 month stay in the county shelter, many people helped me. The county shelter workers watched over me, and the county volunteers walked me, ensured I had plenty of outside time and loved on me! One volunteer in particular would take me to the main corridor of the shelter, put a blanket down for me to sit on and spend the entire day ensuring that everyone who entered the shelter met me. I considered her my agent who was helping me audition. I will always be extremely grateful to her! One day as the county was getting ready to close, Our Pal’s Place walked down the corridor and saw me sitting with my agent. They took me into the bonding room … this was like going to an audition. As I was returned to my agent, O.P.P. said that they were going to get me out of the county shelter just in time for Christmas … this was like getting the leading role in a big production!! I felt as if I had truly won the greatest award of my life … having a second chance. My agent walked me down the red carpet (out of the front door of the county shelter). Hugs were exchanged and congratulations offered in celebration of my award. Now that I bask in the glory of what I consider a Grammy Award, I dream of my next leading role … being part of a family. I will be the most loving goof ball of a companion ever! My new agents are the volunteers at O.P.P. and I know they will help me win my next award! Thank you to all!
